The 3-core power cable is consisted of 3 single core cables which are laid up together with the steel messenger in triplex formation

 

Applications 

for public power distribution networks 12/20KV. It is suitable for aerial installation.

 

Design

Each single core cable is consisted of Aluminium conductor, semiconductive conductor screen,  XLPE insulation, semiconductive insulation screen with grooves, aluminium tape for metallic screen with water protection and PVC outer sheath.

 

The messenger conductor is consisted of galvanized steel wires rope with PVC or XLPE sheath.

 

The single core cables are laid up together with the messenger conductor to form the triplex cable.

 

Core identification: by numbers 1, 2, 3 on the outer sheath of each single core cable
